Murali's work encompasses various aspect of auditing and has been involved in various audit assignments comprising clients ranging from small limited companies to public quoted companies and multinational corporations involved in manufacturing, property development, plantation and trading.
He was also involved in financial statements audit in accordance with Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles in the United States of America (US GAAP) and on SOX Compliance.
Sang Hoe Chow

Chow Sang Hoe is the Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Consulting Sdn. Bhd (EY). He has more than 35 years’ experience in business consulting, strategy and transformation.
Chow’s passions are nation-building and digital transformation, and he is energised by the achievements of his clients. He enjoys bringing people together, having conversations, facilitating discussions and achieving actionable outcomes. He has a keen understanding of the digital trends landscape and how these can impact our clients.
He is a key influencer in the ASEAN consulting industry, having served for close to 8 years as ASEAN Consulting Leader for EY and having worked with clients across Asia Pacific.
When leading ASEAN Consulting, he helped build the Technology Consulting
from scratch, including making targeted acquisitions to bolster design, technology, innovation and analytics capabilities in ASEAN.
Victor Cheong
Partner, Audit and Assurance

Victor began his career in one of the Big Four accounting firm in Malaysia, before he joined the Firm as a Partner in January 2022. Prior to joining RSM Malaysia, he was an Audit Partner with a firm of Chartered Accountants in Malaysia.
Victor has a wide range of experience in coordinating and managing audit engagements, ranging from small and medium sized entities to public listed companies in various industries including trading and retail, manufacturing, construction and property development, logistics, and information technology.
Apart from audit, Victor was also involved in due-diligence for the submission of Information Memorandum for proposed listing on the LEAP Market of Bursa Malaysia and several Agreed-Upon Procedure engagements.

Eligible companies may submit a maximum of 3 nomination entries.

Only one company per industry category will be hailed as a winner.

ELIGIBILITY

The awards programme is open to companies in all industries in Malaysia with headquarters located abroad.

Eligible companies may nominate any initiatives that highlight the excellent work of the company such as:

outstanding project, product or service launched for or with a client

innovative internal practices or strategies

The initiative must have been launched or had upgrades, in part or in full, in the last 24 calendar months.
Companies in the following industries are not eligible to join the awards programme: Cryptocurrency, Tobacco, Multilevel Marketing, and Products with claim of health benefits
CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
Excellence Award
1. Operational Excellence:
- How does your company ensure efficiency and productivity in delivering products or services?
- What processes and quality control measures have you implemented to maintain high standards?
2. Leadership and Vision:
- Describe the leadership within your organisation and its strategic direction.
- How has your leadership inspired and guided the organisation toward excellence?
3. Impact:
- What significant impact has your company had on your industry?
- Can you provide examples of how your contributions have influenced industry practices, competitiveness, and growth?
4. Commitment to Quality:
- How does your organisation demonstrate its dedication to maintaining high standards and prioritising quality?
- What processes and measures are in place to ensure quality and foster continuous improvement?
Initiative Award
1. Innovative Approach:
- Share examples of the unique and creative initiatives or projects your company has undertaken.
- How does your organisation encourage innovative thinking and unconventional solutions?
2. Project Execution:
- Provide insights into how you plan, execute, and manage specific projects and initiatives.

Who are eligible to nominate?
The awards programme is open to all foreign firms with global headquarters located abroad, and have presence, operations and offices in Malaysia.
What can I nominate?
Foreign companies in Malaysia may nominate any initiatives that highlight the excellent work of the company such as:

outstanding project, product or service launched for or with a client

innovative internal practices or strategies
The initiative or project must have been launched or had upgrades, in part or in full, in the last 24 calendar months.
How do I nominate?
- Go to the online nomination form of the Malaysia International Business Awards.
- On the form, you will be asked to provide company and entrant details, as well as your entry's title, 500-word write-up, client feedback (if any), project achievements, supporting documents and project photos.
- Kindly also select the winner's package option that you will book in the event that you successfully win the award.
- Should you need more time to collate your supporting documents, you may send the three (3) project photos and supporting documents to [email protected] on or before 24 January 2025.
Note: Each nomination form is valid for one (1) entry only. If you are nominating several projects, please fill out separate nomination forms.
Can I send two or more entries for our company?
Each participant can submit a maximum of three (3) entries.

Can I nominate for more than 1 category?
You are welcome to submit your initiative across multiple categories that align with your company's industry.
As each company has the opportunity to nominate up to three (3) entries for the awards program, participants have the flexibility to strategically utilise this allocation to enhance their chances of securing an award.
How many winners per category?
Only one (1) winning company will be awarded in each category per industry.
Is there a cost involved?
Nomination is free of charge. To receive exclusive promotional entitlements and attend the prestigious awards dinner, winners must book any of the winner's package options.

Will there be an awards dinner this year?
Yes, there will be an awards dinner in Kuala Lumpur to gather all the winning companies and celebrate their well-deserved win.
More details will be provided to the winners after the announcement of results.
When is the deadline to submit an entry?
The deadline for submission is on 24 January 2025, Friday.
